Women's Miu Miu Clothing and Accessories:

Autumn / Winter 2009 Show: Miu Miu gained recognition from inside the powerful fashion group, Prada, by creating its own identity. Each year Miu Miu closes the last women’s runway show at Paris Fashion Week and this year’s was saucier, and almost carnal, to a sound track from Histoire d’O, Fassbinder and Antonioni. Miu Miu demonstrated its own independence, presenting different types of Femme Fatale during the Paris Fall show.

The Miu Miu women is impossible to define with a certain 'je-ne-sais quoi' which sets off an aesthetic sensation - for Autumn/Winter 2009, she is ultra chic, minimalist, and elegant. On the A/W 2009 catwalk, she wears beige cashmere coats opened with only a nude bra underneath, accompanied by a wool scarf or fur. She likes crepe skirts opened at the back and in the front, tigers prints, and embroidered dresses with low necklines. A bit of colour was introduced with a play on transparency with red and green chiffon.

At the end of the show monochrome pieces are presented, embroidered with large and colourful gems. Sparkle covered knee-high socks introduces a bit of 70’s inspiration.

Miu Miu recently opened a boutique in Honolulu, Hawaii in March 2009. Miu Miu opened their first shop in China in the MIXc Mall shopping centre in Shenzen in 2009.
