Jigsaw’s first store opened in Hampstead in 1972, there are now over 40 stores and concessions in the UK and additional stores internationally. Jigsaw, renowned for selling high quality clothing at affordable prices is still under the ownership of its original founders, John Robinson and Malcolm Webster. Jigsaw’s initial designs were influenced by Robinson’s vacation to Turkey; it was here he found a sheepskin coat which became sought after by people in the UK. Using good business sense Robinson proceeded to order these coats by the truckload and sold them to the demanding public.

Each Jigsaw store is designed individually so that no two stores look the same. Over 8 Jigsaw stores in the UK have even been blessed with shop interiors designed by Nigel Coates.
