The Collection - Re-visiting the US aristocratic style with an elitist vision of fashion for shirts, Lauren’s signature product is the tailored classical polo - perfectly cut shirts with the polo player stamped on it.
About - A kid from the Bronx, Ralph Lauren worked during the weekend to buy his clothes. He obtained a business diploma and found work as a salesman. Using his company’s factory as a base he produced a collection of ties in 1968. Instant success: the collection was a sell out. Lauren re-invested the money from his first success into starting up his own company. He soon became the King of US sportswear, where he remains today after 40 years at the head of the Ralph Lauren empire.
